LUNAR ECLIPSE

This photo was taken in Jan?, 2020, here in Corpus Christi. Actually in my backyard with my Celestron C6, which I use for both solar and lunar work. I love the wine color. You can see the various shades as you look across the face of the moon. I can't remember the exposure times. Sorry.

The reason the moon turns red is because it is in the earths shadow that is created by the sun, which at this time is on the other side of the earth.
